010: A Nightmare on Helm Street

Incident at Absalom Station, continued

Progress: 100% to 2nd Level

Gnak is haunted by his past when some old acquaintances come to collect on his debts. The Ysoki finds himself lucky to have friends in high places (literally, at least) as the rest of the party comes to his aid.

Battled and bruised, the adventurers narrowly escape the fray, when a representative from Astral Extractions approaches. Leery, they report to AE headquarters at the Bluerise Spire. Once inside, they quickly discover that AE has the upper hand, but they politely (or begrudgingly, as the case may be) listen to their spiel.

But the visit isn’t for naught. Further exploration yields some bothersome new clues about the corporation’s dealings. And shortly before their departure, ANDIS comes across a disturbing image from their past.

Finally, the adventurers board the shuttle Hippocampus to begin Nor’s mission from episode 9 to investigate the Acreon. While in pursuit of the mysterious ship, they run into some trouble. Will they out-maneuver their foes?

Emp weapons only affect weapons with shields down. Don’t let Patrick kill you on a technicality!

Ooh, good catch! The PC’s were babies this episode as I didn’t even get a point of Hull damage in. Still, you’re right about the EMP and it will be corrected in our next starship combat (-Patrick aka the GM)

Jebediah Sims has crossed the veil

    He was a bad man…

Glad to “hear” him in action

As the great scroll in the sky would say “He who lives by the word, usually dies by brain incineration..”

    Jebediah Sims would be missed
